What's New !!!
(Last Updated January 01, 2010)

We wish you all a very safe and Happy New Year. It's hard to believe that another year has passed, but we are thankful for all of our blessings, our horses, our families and everything that God has provided.

We will be off to a VERY early start this year with foaling...with our first mare due anytime now. We are especially looking forward to this one...a daughter of Mr Melody Jac that we had the opportunity to purchase earlier this year. She is a three-quarter sister to one of our top producing mares, Melody Malone.

A lot was accomplished on the reining show circuit this year. As reported earlier, we purchased another , young daughter of Hollywood Dun It in the spring of 2009 and she has already racked up significant NRHA earnings. She is now back with us waiting to foal in April. We also acquired an own daughter of Topsail Whiz in 2009 that we will be breeding in early 2010. As many of you have probably heard by now, Topsail Whiz was euthanized just before Christmas. He is the only $6 million reining sire and, heading into 2010, his foals are just shy of earning $7 million. We are very impressed with the Bar Top Sailor (own son of Whiz) sons and daughters born on our farm in 2009 and we are looking forward to his foals this year.

Zans Diamond Dun It, better known to most of you as "Scooby", continued showing in 2009 and Julie Marks qualified him for the North American Affiliate Reining Championship...way to go Julie and Scooby. We just sent another daughter of Scooby's, a coming two-year old out of daughter of Taris Catalyst, to HS Performance Horses to start her reining training.

We continue to have one of Scooby's show videos on-line as well...it is located on his stallion page at Zans Diamond Dun It.

A Poco Bueno Dun It sliding in Perry this past August. Herm Sherwin has put several hundred dollars in NRHA earnings on this mare in just a couple of shows. She is now back home with us waiting to foal in April. We plan to continue showing her in the fall of 2010.

A very big congratulations to Kevin and Taira Lance on a great show year with HS Dun It In Diamonds. This young daughter of Scooby's finished 2009 with 96 South Carolina Quarter Horse Association (SCQHA) points and 8 AQHA points.  Kevin and "Helen" were Reserve Champions in the Novice Amateur Reining.

Thanks to so many of you that have purchased foals, finished horses, and broodmares from us the past few months. HS Ima Georgia Peach, a gorgeous grullo filly from the 2009 foal crop, just went to her new home with Regina Chisolm in Plant City, Florida. HS Ima Golden Dun It was purchased by Michael and DeeAnna Avato in northern Tennessee. The Avato's already have a full sister to this filly at home. Two of our coming yearlings - HS Skip N Dun It and HS Freckles Dun It - just went to a new home in Miami and another filly will be joining them in a couple of months.

Thanks also to Kelly Fortner, a long-time client, in the purchase of HS Sweet Thing Too in September. Dee Thompson, another long-time client and friend, purchased one of our broodmares, Minnies Pearl, in September. In a recent e-mail, Dee writes, "I just had to type and let you know how sweet and how much I'm enjoying "Pearl". She's like a puppy dog. She even whinnies to me in the morning on my way out to feed and at "treat time" in the afternoon. When I'm at the barn and she can't find me, she walks around the outside of the barn until she sees me. I've never seen anything like it...Pearl is such a sweetheart". Dee has since reported that they are riding this mare in a halter. Dee, thanks for buying her and giving her a great home...we agree that she is very special!!!

There are many others here that we have not mentioned...thanks so much for your business, but evern more so, your friendship this past year. Please continue to keep us up-to-date on your horses!!!

We look forward to seeing everyone in 2010!!!

Bobby and Tammy
