What's New !!!
(Last Updated September 06, 2010)
Boy, it has been a very busy year...sorry to all that follow our site regularly for falling down on the job of keeping this up-to-date. We will try to do better going into the holidays. All of the 2010 foals are here and they are a super nice crop. Several have already gone to new homes and the others are well into their handling and early training. For some reason, we had mostly fillies this year and they are a pretty group with many buckskins, buttermilk duns and palominos.
A Poco Bueno Dun It is back on the reining show circuit after we weaned her first foal, HS Firecracker Dunit, in late June. She was shown in Perry a couple of weeks back and will be headed to Tennessee in early October. Of course, in the meantime, we have totally spoiled her filly...as soon as she can figure out how to climb into someone's lap, we're very sure she will...

Scooby loves to be ridden...he is helping us out with the halter training for his and Whiz's babies this year. He is pictured here with daughter, HS Dunits Melody.
We are so blessed with him...there are not many stallions that breed in the winter and spring and help with the halter breaking in the summer and fall!!! |
Scooby is shown here with a buckskin daughter of Peps Slic Chic (Smart Chic Olena daughter)...
We were fortunate recently to add Kaylyn Bryan as a trainer for the young horses. The long yearlings are saddled, lunged and are driving under saddle. We've got several coming two-year-old prospects that we are looking forward to starting in reining training next year. Kaylyn is shown here with HS Hollywood Whiz (Bar Top Sailor x Annie Dun Did It (by Hollywood Dun It)) and HS Ima Whiz Kid (Bar Top Sailor x Melody Malone (by Mr Melody Jac)). The Melody Malone colt is a half brother to the filly that Scooby is haltering above...
Thanks much to Kim Poston for the recent purchase of HS Shems Royal Ann.

This mare is very broke to ride, but Kim has had a good time showing her in halter this summer as well. In a recent message, Kim writes, "Hey Bobby and Tammy,
I'm LOVING Ms. Anne! She is amazing, and has the best disposition I think I've ever found in a horse. We ride often, mostly trail.
We've been on a handful of trails, and she is incredible. Just so thrilled with her, I had to share. Thanks again!" |
Bobby took some time recently to get out with our new camera to get some great foal pictures. These two buttermilk dun fillies are by Scooby and two bay daughters of Taris Catalyst...gotta love that color and build!!! The filly on the left has been weaned and the filly on the right will come in shortly.
Oh, and we just had to share this one...
Come on, let's play!!!
Thanks so much to Dee Thompson for sharing this picture of Scooby's young daughter and "Ginger" the dog.
Dee and Stan, thanks so much for being great customers, and more importantly, wonderful friends, over the years. You have truly blessed us in so many ways!! |

Thanks so much to all our customers and friends...we continue to appreciate all of your support!!! It has been a very hot summer and we are looking forward to the fall and coolor temperatures.
We hope to see everyone for the registered sale in Clemson this year. The sale, Southern States Horse Sale, has been taken back over by Cecil and Annette Smith and will be held on October 30th at the T. Ed Garrison Arena on the Clemson University Campus. Cecil and Annette originally started this sale (as Western Carolina Horse Sales) and it has changed ownership several times in recent years...we are very glad to see that the sale is back in their very qualified and able hands. You are both true professionals that run a very professional, high quality horse sale. For more information on the upcoming sale, please contact the Smiths at 864/895-7514 and join us all there in late October.
We continue to have one of Scooby's show videos on-line as well...it is located on his stallion page at Zans Diamond Dun It.
Have a great fall!!! Bobby and Tammy
